Unless stated otherwise below, all table types support the following types:

* booleans
* 8-, 16-, 32-, and 64- bit signed integer numbers.
* 8-, 16-, 32-, and 64- bit unsigned integer numbers.
* 32- and 64-bit floating point numbers.
* ASCII strings
